Rhodium Engineering is currently engaged in the design and construction of the Sierra Leone Insurance Company (SLIC0) building in Freetown. This project emphasises modernity, sustainability, and efficiency, incorporating advanced MEP and renewable energy systems.  Our scope of works in this project includes:

• Building Construction: Comprehensive design and construction of the building structure.
• Mechanical Systems: A high-efficiency HVAC system to ensure optimal climate control and air quality.
• Electrical Systems: Reliable power distribution includes energy-efficient LED lighting and rooftop solar panels (PV) to enhance energy sustainability.
• Plumbing Systems: The building utilises efficient water supply and waste management systems. A borehole system provides a sustainable water source, complemented by water-saving fixtures and rainwater harvesting.
• Renewable Energy Strategy: Integration of photovoltaic (PV) panels for electricity generation and on site Borehole construction for water supply and sustainability. Rainwater harvesting solutions were also incorporated in this project..
• Rhodium Engineering's approach ensures the project aligns with sustainable development goals, setting a new standard for future regional infrastructure.

Rhodium Engineering is currently undertaking the design and construction of warehouses and perimeter shops at APMC in Freetown. Involved from the initial masterplan stage of the 12.3-acre site, Rhodium has produced detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT for Building Modelling .

Our Scope of works inclues the following key areas:

• Building Construction: Comprehensive design and construction of various facilities on the site including a warehouse and 140 perimeter shops.
• MEP Design: Advanced mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems ensure efficiency and sustainability.
• Renewable Energy Strategy: Integration of photovoltaic (PV) panels for electricity generation and on site Borehole construction for water supply and sustainability.

Rhodium Engineering's involvement ensures the development meets high standards of modern efficiency and sustainability, setting a precedent for future projects in the region.

Rhodium Engineering Services is currently engaged in the design and installation of a new elevator at COMAHS in Freetown, providing a solution tailored to the building’s operational requirements and the needs of its users.

Current Status: The project is currently in the design and coordination phase, with Rhodium undertaking stakeholder consultations, site assessments and technical evaluations to establish the most suitable elevator solution. This includes coordinating site visits, identifying key stakeholder requirements and developing a design that is appropriate for the building’s existing structure and intended use.

Rhodium is working closely with the relevant stakeholders to progress the project towards final design approval, installation and commissioning. The project demonstrates Rhodium’s integrated approach to elevator solutions, combining technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and detailed project coordination to deliver a safe, efficient and fit-for-purpose installation.
