  Haroun Bangura is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) registered by the Engineering Council (UK) and a Member of the  Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE) UK.  With over two decades of professional experience spanning Building Services Engineering, Renewable Energy, project management, and multidisciplinary engineering delivery, he has held Senior Engineering  roles with Atkins, WSP, Meinhardt, and GDM Group.

As a Co-founder of Rhodium Engineering & Construction Logistics, Haroun currently leads the company’s corporate strategy, business development  and provides technical oversight across complex multidisciplinary projects, helping to shape the organisation’s growth, technical direction, commercial development, and project delivery standards. His role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engineering expertise, ensuring that complex projects are delivered with a strong focus on technical excellence, innovation, sustainability, and long-term value.

Haroun  holds a MSc in Engineering Design from Brunel University  (UK).

 Lamin  Kakay  is a technology and software systems specialist with over 20 years of experience in the development, implementation and management of digital systems, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and technology-driven business solutions.

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Greenwich, UK, and brings extensive experience in software architecture, systems development, digital platforms and technology integration.

As Chief Technology Officer of Rhodium Engineering Services, Lamin provides strategic leadership for the Group’s digital technology strategy, with a particular focus on leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and project visibility. He is currently leading the development of a range of innovative digital solutions designed to integrate Rhodium’s engineering and construction services with intelligent customer-facing platforms.

Lamin currently leads Rhodium Digital Technologies, a technology subsidiary of the Rhodium Group, where he is responsible for developing and deploying innovative digital products and platforms that support the Group’s engineering, construction, facilities management and elevator businesses.   

Aziz Bangura is Chartered Accountant (ACA) with over ten years of experience in financial accounting, audit, and statutory reporting across corporate and Big Four environments. Serving as Financial Accounting Manager at Wyelands Capital, part of GFG Alliance, where he led statutory accounts preparation, management reporting, cash flow forecasting, and transfer pricing, while managing and mentoring a team of accountants.
Before joining Wyelands Capital, Aziz held senior reporting and finance management roles at Liberty House Group and Foam & Substance, and began his career at KPMG as a Senior Audit Associate, delivering external audit services to major clients including Mitsubishi Electric, American Express Global Business Travel, and Bristow Group.
Aziz holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kent and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). 

Alimatu Kakay is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience in human resource management, administration and organisational development. She brings extensive experience in developing effective people-management systems and supporting organisations in building strong, professional and high-performing teams.

Alimatu holds a BSc (Hons) in Criminology and an MSc in Human Resources Management from the University of Luton, England. Her academic background, combined with her extensive professional experience, provides a strong foundation for managing people, organisational structures, employee relations and HR governance.

As Group Human Resources Director of Rhodium Group, Alimatu is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the Group’s human resources function. She oversees HR administration across all Rhodium Group companies, ensuring consistency in HR policies, recruitment, employee development, performance management, staff welfare, records management and organisational compliance.

John Simbo   is an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in coordinating and delivering complex construction and engineering projects. He brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to project management, ensuring that projects are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered in accordance with agreed requirements, quality standards, timelines and budgets.

John is currently involved in the management of several high-profile projects for Rhodium Engineering Services, including the design and build of the Sierra Leone Insurance Company (SLICO) headquarters in Freetown. His responsibilities encompass project coordination, programme monitoring, contractor management, quality control, resource coordination and ensuring effective communication between project stakeholders and Rhodium's multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Known for his keen eye for detail and disciplined approach to project management, John plays an important role in identifying potential issues early, coordinating solutions and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle.

His strong organisational skills and hands-on approach help ensure that Rhodium's projects remain on track, properly coordinated and aligned with the required technical and commercial objectives. 

Nikhil Verma  is an experienced Building Information Modelling (BIM) professional specialising in the coordination, development and delivery of multidisciplinary BIM projects. 

Nikhil holds a B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from UPTU University in India and an IMECHE Engineering Technician (EngTech) from UK. He brings a strong understanding of digital construction workflows and plays an important role in ensuring that Rhodium's engineering and construction projects are effectively coordinated through the use of modern BIM technologies.

As BIM Coordinator at Rhodium Engineering Services, Nikhil is responsible for coordinating digital models across multiple engineering disciplines, supporting design development, identifying potential clashes and ensuring that project information is accurately structured and coordinated throughout the project lifecycle.

Nikhil has successfully contributed to the delivery of several BIM projects undertaken by Rhodium, including the design and construction of SLICO headquarters. His experience across these projects demonstrates his ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and translate complex design information into coordinated digital models that support efficient project delivery.
